About us

Don’t just function, flourish. With EVT Connect Hospitality. The EVT Connect Hospitality team can be relied on for best-in-class insights into how to drive performance for the brand; from local talent development and operations, to driving market leading revenue strategies for third-party loyalty programs, distribution and brand standards.

Why We're Here

At Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, we believe in heartfelt, human connections that make lives better – especially the lives of those who work with us. Our founder, Bill Kimpton, rebelled against impersonal, generic hospitality and created a culture where people connect from the heart. This tradition continues today, and your role here is meaningful. Every day, you have the opportunity to improve lives, including your own, through unique and memorable experiences.

How We're Different

Born from an entrepreneurial spirit in San Francisco in 1981, Kimpton is all about creativity, individuality, and self-leadership. We celebrate people from all walks of life who bring their unique talents, experiences, and vibrant personalities to work. Our environment is quirky, irreverent, exciting, and empowering, and we aim to provide this same exceptional experience to our guests. When you work here, you shine because we encourage you to be your true self.

What You'll Do

As a Banquet Supervisor at Kimpton Margot Sydney, you’ll work closely with our Events Operations Manager to provide leadership and support to our banquets team, ensuring exceptional service and high guest satisfaction. You’ll create “ridiculously personal experiences” for our guests, acting as an advocate for the hotel and building lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits. Your energy and passion will inspire your team, helping us maintain our unique brand of hospitality excellence.

  • Energy… and lots of it!
  • 2+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in conferences and events.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A passion for crafting personalized guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
