What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Head Bartender, the Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service and creating memorable guest experiences within the hotel’s restaurant and bar. This role plays an important part in maintaining a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere while preparing and serving premium cocktails, wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to a consistently high standard.

The Bartender will combine strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality to engage with guests and contribute to the overall success of the Food & Beverage operation. Working collaboratively with the wider restaurant and hotel team, this position supports seamless service delivery while upholding brand standards, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.

• Deliver warm, engaging, and professional service to all guests within the restaurant and bar.
• Create memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality and strong product knowledge.
• Prepare and serve beverages efficiently while maintaining exceptional presentation standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide tailored beverage recommendations, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Support a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the hotel and venue brand.
• Prepare cocktails, mixed drinks, coffees, and other beverages to recipe and presentation standards.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the beverage menu, wine list, premium spirits, and seasonal promotions.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all beverages served.
• Work collaboratively with the Head Bartender, restaurant team, kitchen, and wider hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Support fellow team members during peak service periods.
• Follow all liquor licensing, host responsibility, health & safety, and food hygiene requirements.

This position offers a competitive pay rate of $28.95 per hour.

About You

• Minimum 1 year experience as F&B Attendant, Bar Tender, or similar role in a hotel or hospitality environment
• Solid understanding of Food & Beverage operations and guest service standards
• Confident handling guest complaints and operational challenges
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• LCQ Qualification preferred but not mandatory
