We’re looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and service-driven Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team at voco™. As part of the IHG Hotels & Resorts family, you’ll help us deliver a warm, memorable experience to every guest, whether they’re here for business, leisure, or celebration.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional service and ensure a vibrant, welcoming bar atmosphere
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with skill and flair
• Support the food service team with professionalism and efficiency
• Uphold RSA and food safety standards at all times
• Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the bar and service areas
• Proactively upsell and recommend menu items to guests
• Handle transactions with accuracy and follow cash handling procedures
• Engage with guests, remembering names and preferences — especially loyalty members and returning guests

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment (preferred)
• A passion for great service, with a friendly and engaging attitude
• Confidence in mixing, serving, and presenting beverages
• Current New Zealand LCQ and Manager’s Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Knowledge of responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and food safety standards
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
