voco Auckland City Centre and Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Centre are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Breakfast Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee our morning dining operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about service excellence, team leadership, and delivering outstanding breakfast experiences to our guests.

About the Role

As the Breakfast Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of breakfast service, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest satisfaction, and adherence to brand standards. You will lead by example, support the team, and help create a welcoming and efficient dining environment each morning.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily breakfast food and beverage operations.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the breakfast team to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Ensure breakfast buffet and food presentation standards are maintained at all times.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and service delivery throughout the shift.
• Manage guest enquiries, feedback, and service recovery in a professional manner.
• Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management processes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Assist with team training, onboarding, and performance development.
• Work closely with the kitchen and hotel operations teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar role.
• Experience within a hotel environment is highly regarded.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Valid New Zealand working rights.
