At Country Comfort Perth, we take pride in delivering genuine hospitality and comfortable stays for all our guests. We’re now looking for a passionate and hands-on Gardener & Handyperson to join our dedicated team and help keep our hotel looking its best, inside and out.

About the Role
As our Gardener & Handyperson, you will play a key role in the maintenance and presentation of the hotel. From tending to the gardens and grounds, to completing general repairs and ensuring all maintenance tasks are attended to promptly and safely – you’ll be the go-to person for all things upkeep and care.

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel gardens and outdoor areas to a high standard
• Look after the cleanliness and upkeep of public and guest areas
• Perform regular maintenance checks and minor repairs (tiling, painting, plumbing, etc.)
• Ensure lighting, plant rooms, and pool are clean and in working order
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Keep workshop and equipment in safe working condition
• Manage waste, assist in contractor coordination, and maintain safety registers
• Follow safety procedures and promote a clean and hazard-free work environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience in groundskeeping and maintenance
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Physically fit with the ability to lift, bend, climb, and carry out manual tasks
• Knowledge of safe work practices and WHS standards
• Strong communication and time management skills
• A can-do attitude and willingness to help where needed
