About the role

As our Assistant Front Office Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the Front Office team to deliver exceptional, memorable guest experiences. You’ll bring energy, professionalism, and a hands-on leadership style, supporting daily operations while inspiring your team to live our core values: Passion, Accountability, Integrity, and Respect.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the Front Office Manager in daily operations and team leadership
  • Delivering outstanding guest service and resolving issues promptly
  • Leading by example to create memorable guest experiences
  • Driving upselling opportunities and enhancing guest stays
  • Managing rosters, reporting, and departmental administration
  • Ensuring compliance with procedures (cash handling, security, guest confidentiality)
  • Coordinating maintenance requests to maintain high presentation standards
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members
  • Collaborating across departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Front Office leadership role within hotels
  • Strong knowledge of systems such as Opera and MICROS (preferred)
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to stay calm and resilient in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • A collaborative, team-focused mindset
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
