We are currently seeking a motivated and professional Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team and support the delivery of exceptional guest experiences while leading and mentoring our Front Office team.
Position Overview
As the Assistant Front Office Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day Front Office operations, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all guests. You will provide professional leadership, support team members in delivering high service standards, and collaborate with other hotel departments to maintain operational excellence. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional passionate about guest service and team leadership, seeking growth in a dynamic hotel environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all Front Office operations, including guest check-in/out, concierge services, and reservations
- Lead, mentor, and support Front Office team members to deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences
- Ensure compliance with hotel standards, procedures, and policies, including cash handling, key control, and confidentiality
- Maintain accurate records, departmental logs, and reports for management review
- Support daily briefings and departmental meetings to ensure smooth operations
- Facilitate prompt resolution of guest issues and escalate unresolved matters appropriately
- Monitor and report maintenance requirements to ensure optimal functioning of Front Office areas
- Participate in upselling programs and initiatives to enhance revenue opportunities
- Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Front Office Supervisor, Assistant Front Office Manager, or similar role in a hotel environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Sound knowledge of Opera, MICROS, or other hotel management software
- A genuine passion for guest service and team development
- Full working rights in Australia

- Previous experience in Front Office operations within a hotel environment
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Knowledge of Front Office systems and procedures
