We are looking for a Full time Assistant Night Manager to deliver our Service Style, Mission Made Easy, which is built upon three Service Behaviours that drive everything we do:

There will be night shift working in this role.

Responsibilities

• Love the brand & be a great ambassador of Holiday Inn Express
• You're a super organised, forward thinking type person: scheduling, activity planning and task delegation are critical to our success – we're depended on by the whole business to consistently deliver the goods.
• Working with the Night Manager and Duty Management team.
• Being part of and taking the lead when required in hotel emergency procedures, together with assisting in ensuring the hotel complies with local government regulations concerning safety, and any other regulatory requirements. In the absence of the Night Manager, be Manager on Duty.
• You'll be dealing with a variety of people, so your communication will be adaptable. You'll be a brilliant communicator - consistently clear and concise.
• You'll help us problem solve, as we're still building our business, we have solutions to find – your logical thinking and collaboration with teams across the business will be key.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience within a similar role or capacity.
• Enjoy working Night Shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written form
• Professional and personable, with a can-do attitude.
• You're pre-equipped with sound judgement, even under pressure – you'll have a heap of responsibility right off the bat
• You make calm, collected decisions – even when the clock is ticking
• Ideally, you'll have the appropriate qualification or relevant equivalent experience
• You will be required to hold or obtain a First Aid certificate and a NSW RSA Certificate
• Must meet the appropriate legal requirements to work in Australia
