As a Bartender you will help in creating an exciting, innovative, and memorable dining experience for all guests whilst working with a well-rounded and highly motivated F&B team. You have a passion for all things hospitality and love making genuine human connections and contributing to awesome guest experiences. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and exceptional experience while maintaining a professional and friendly presence at our outlets at all time.
As a Full-Time role, you will work a minimum of 30 hours and up to 40 hours per week.
What You’ll Do
- Passion for all things food, wine and service.
- Love & live the brand and be a great ambassador of voco hotels.
- Greet & seat guests and patrons in a timely manner.
- Set up and pack up function rooms ensuring guidelines are followed.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming bar area.
- Provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
- Anticipate guests needs and desires and proactively and positively assist with special occasions and dietary requirements.
- Adhere to all food & general safety & hygiene legislation and procedures.
- Assist other departments as required.
About You
- Previous guest service experience preferred (hotel, concierge, or customer service roles advantageous)
- Mixology skills are essential.
- Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically capable of handling luggage and manual tasks
- Reliable, well-presented, and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and public holidays
