Position Summary:

At voco and Hotel Indigo Brisbane City Centre we are looking for Commis Chefs to join our creative Culinary team. You will be at the forefront of our food offering, providing our guests with exceptional, creative, locally sourced, and seasonal gastronomic delights. You will help create memorable hotel experiences for all guests whilst working with a well-rounded and highly motivated Culinary Team under the direction and leadership of an exceptional Executive Chef.

Position Summary:

At voco and Hotel Indigo Brisbane City Centre we are looking for Commis Chefs to join our creative Culinary team. Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Love & live the brand and be a great ambassador of voco hotels and Hotel Indigo.

• Delight guests with the provision of a sublime food offering.

• Assist with the conception and execution of exciting menus.

• Support the broader kitchen team as required.

• Adhere to all food & general safety & hygiene legislation and procedures.

• Respond quickly and attentively to guest requests and needs, ensuring that our guests have a great experience every time.

• Be flexible to work a rotational 7-day week roster.

You will possess:

• Previous experience in a vibrant & dynamic fast-paced, creative kitchen.

• High energy with a passion for achieving superior results.

• Detail-oriented and able to effectively multitask.

• Professionalism, personable, with a "roll up the sleeves", can-do attitude.

• Thrive under pressure and be flexible when adapting to new situations.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Pride in personal presentation and grooming, a spring in your step and a genuine smile.

• Possess or obtain a Food Safety certificate (as necessary).
