About the role

We are looking for a talented Conference & Events Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our growth and success. Working closely with the Conference & Events Manager, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing exceptional events that create memorable experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage all event details including food and beverage, meeting requirements, AV needs, room blocks, deposits, VIP arrangements and more.
  • Maintain an on-site presence during key functions, greeting guests and remaining available throughout events.
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure swift and effective resolution of guest issues.
  • Identify business opportunities and maximise revenue through upselling and creative event and F&B solutions.Produce high-quality presentations and ensure accurate, event documentation.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the Events team to ensure seamless delivery of all events.
  • Manage wedding enquiries and coordinate full wedding execution from start to finish.

Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel conferencing, events, or wedding coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end event operations in a hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems and the ability to input information efficiently.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and sales experience, including cold calling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure with strong organisational skills.
