About the role
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering warm, efficient, and professional service across our food and beverage outlets, including breakfast service, bar service, and guest dining areas.
You’ll help ensure our outlets are clean, well-presented, and operate smoothly while creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm and friendly approach
- Deliver food and beverage service to a high standard
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally
- Build positive guest relationships and create memorable experiences
- Maintain excellent knowledge of menu items and hotel facilities
- Set up, replenish, and maintain service areas
- Ensure cleanliness and presentation of dining outlets
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems
- Assist with stock control and minimise wastage
- Complete shift handovers and daily tasks efficiently
- Participate in training sessions and team briefings
- Support a positive, collaborative workplace culture
- Follow Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Adhere to WHS policies and hotel procedures
Qualifications & experience
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Experience in food and beverage service, café, restaurant, bar, or hotel operations highly regarded
- Friendly and professional communication skills with a guest-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Experience using POS systems preferred
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required
- Flexible and adaptable work approach, including weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate preferred
- Australian working rights required.
