Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join the team at voco Queenstown.

In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of service, smooth event delivery, and strong team leadership. You will help drive guest satisfaction, maximise revenue opportunities, and maintain operational excellence across all F&B services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead and supervise the F&B team during shifts, providing guidance and support where needed.
  • Work closely with Events and Operations team to ensure successful delivery of functions and conferences.
  • Ensure excellent guest service by addressing guest enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain high levels of product knowledge to confidently promote food, beverage, and venue offerings.
  • Monitor service standards, cleanliness, and presentation across all F&B areas.
  • Assist with inventory management, stock control, and cost monitoring.
  • Support promotional initiatives and upselling opportunities to drive revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with RSA, responsible service standards, and hotel policies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Food & Beverage leadership role within a hotel environment.
  • Strong operational knowledge of restaurant, bar, and event service.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Valid Manager's Certificate.
  • Full working rights in New Zealand.
