The Role
We’re looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Kitchen and Stores Assistant to support our Food & Beverage operations. You’ll be a self-confessed perfectionist who thrives on structure, enjoys creating a seamless experience for guests, and values communication. If you’re passionate about food service and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this role is for you!
This role will be working on a 7-day, 24-hour roster, 30 hours per week minimum to a maximum of 55 hours per week. The hourly wage for this role is $29.66 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing goods in designated areas.
- Track purchase orders, manage delivery dockets, and update the purchasing system.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the storerooms.
- Handle glassware, silverware, crockery, and other kitchen items with care.
- Support chefs with food preparation and gain hands-on training to advance in the kitchen.
- Respond attentively to guest needs, enhancing their experience.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Hygiene policies.

What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years experience as a Kitchen/Stores Assistant
- A "roll-up-the-sleeves" attitude and can-do approach
- Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure
