Sage Wollongong is recruiting for a talented & detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our Reception team. You will be responsible for auditing & administrating the Hotel's operating departments, whilst delivering exceptional hospitality & ensuring that our guests are welcomed and assisted throughout their stay.

About the Role:

Based at the Front Office, our Night Auditor is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality, whilst ensuring the accurate administration of guest billing & reservations. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the front desk operations during the overnight period. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Night Shift from 11pm - 7am. Must be available to work on a rotating roster, weekends and public holidays.
  • The accurate recording and breakdown of Room Tariffs / Packages on the PMS for all guests.
  • Verifying & auditing payment records within the PMS & Credit Card Terminals
  • Administrate guest billing & reservations enquiries smoothly & accurately
  • Answer all incoming calls promptly and pleasantly and provide appropriate assistance
  • Regular reporting of maintenance requirements and scheduling repairs at appropriate times to keep all areas looking and functioning optimally.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a Hotel reception environment, working with a property management system (ie: OPERA)
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation
  • The ability to multi-task, work under pressure and problem solve effectively.
  • The flexibility to work a 24/7 roster, including public holidays and weekends.
  • A current First Aid Certificate and RSA Qualification
  • Be level headed to handle any emergencies within the hotel, including acting as the Chief Fire Warden and First Aid Officer
  • Experience in overnights and auditing seen as advantageous
