The Role

As the Night Manager (NM), you will be responsible for the hotel operation during night shift, maintaining hotel security and driving guest experience. In conjunction with this, you are the hotel Finance & Business Support representative and have various financial responsibilities to Holiday Inn Express. You will support in establishing quality and guest service standards, and drive hotel revenue and profit goals through a detailed auditing process of hotel revenue and expenses.

The Role:
As Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing hotel operations during the night, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining security, and performing financial auditing processes. You will also support the Finance and Hotel Management teams with daily revenue and expense audits while upholding IHG brand standards and local safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage hotel operations overnight, ensuring guest needs are promptly addressed.

  • Conduct nightly audits of hotel revenue and expenses.

  • Maintain hotel safety and emergency procedures.

  • Monitor financial transactions, security of cash, credit, and inventory.

  • Lead and support the night team, ensuring they are ready, engaging, and on top of guest needs.

  • Assist in the training, coaching, and recognition of team members.

  • Handle guest feedback and complaints with care and professionalism.

  • Support the business by maintaining compliance with WHS, emergency procedures, and responsible business practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in Front Office, Night Audit, or Hotel Operations (Night Manager experience highly desirable).

  • Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.

  • Financial acumen and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.

  • Ability to work independently overnight and make confident decisions.

  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
