About the role
We are searching for energic and passionate Senior Sous Chef to join our pre-opening team and contribute to the launch of our brand-new restaurant, Mozzarella and Co. Working closely with Executive Chef, this role offers the exciting opportunity to make your mark on our new concept. You will support the Executive Chef in leading the team and managing kitchen operations. You will help deliver consistent, high-quality meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities
• Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations across all food outlets including banquets
• Lead, supervise, and mentor the kitchen brigade to maintain high performance and consistency
• Ensure all food preparation and presentation meets brand and quality standards
• Assist in menu development, innovation, and seasonal updates aligned with guest expectations
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance with all health and safety standards
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and support inventory control processes
• Help manage food costs, minimise waste, and support budget and payroll compliance
• Ensure smooth kitchen operations during service, including coordination with front-of-house team.
• Train and develop junior kitchen team members to build capability and performance
• Support continuous improvement in guest experience through feedback and quality control
Qualifications & experience
• Previous experience as Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a hotel or high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and cost control
• Passion for delivering high-quality, consistent food and guest experiences
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Culinary qualification is highly desirable
