As a Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service across the hotel café and bar areas. You will prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic drinks, while ensuring a welcoming and efficient guest experience.

Working closely with the Food & Beverage team, you will maintain venue presentation standards, follow brand service procedures, and ensure compliance with RSA and food safety requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea, and other beverages to a high standard
• Deliver friendly, efficient, and engaging customer service
• Upsell food, beverage, and hotel offerings where appropriate
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and in line with procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the café/bar area at all times
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or wastage
• Follow all RSA, food safety, and WH&S procedures
• Support the wider Food & Beverage team as required
• Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure a positive guest experience

About You

• Barista experience preferred, with strong coffee knowledge an advantage
• Previous customer service experience in hospitality or retail
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Professional, friendly, and proactive approach to guest service
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Physically able to lift, push, or pull up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
