Position Overview:
As a Cook at voco Brisbane City Centre, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You’ll work with a supportive team, be encouraged to innovate, and have the flexibility to work in different areas of the kitchen. Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the Departmental Induction program and achieve on-the-job skill and knowledge certification.
• Follow pre-determined duty rosters and display flexibility to meet operational needs.
• Contribute to exceptional guest experiences by creating quality food and being proactive in fulfilling guest requests.
• Innovate in food displays and presentations for buffets and special events.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
• Adhere to all company policies and standards, including safety, security, and environmental practices.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

• Follow safe work practices, ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Take ownership of workplace health and safety by reporting hazards and following WHS protocols.
• Comply with voco Brisbane's Code of Conduct and all health, safety, and environmental policies.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role.
• Passion for food and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and guest needs.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
