Role Overview: As a Food & Beverage Attendant at Hotel Indigo Sydney Potts Point, you’ll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of our dining outlets, and embodying the spirit of Hotel Indigo. You’ll work closely with the team to maintain the highest standards of service in LucSan, Cross Café, and In-Room Dining, while ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience. Your passion for customer service and commitment to our core values will shine through in everything you do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality food and beverage service, ensuring consistency with our service standards.
  • Upsell and suggest food & beverage products to enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain accuracy when processing cashier transactions and adhere to cash security procedures.
  • Assist in stock control and minimize wastage through effective inventory management.
  • Ensure excellent guest interactions, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Foster a positive, energetic atmosphere and build strong relationships with both guests and colleagues.
  • Stay knowledgeable about local attractions and share insights with guests to enhance their stay.
  • Adhere to brand standards for presentation, grooming, and punctuality.
  • Actively participate in required training sessions and maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedures.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver exceptional service.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Experience with POS systems, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • A positive attitude and a sense of humor that creates a welcoming atmosphere.
