Our Groups & Conferencing Executive works within the Sales & Marketing Department, and is responsible for the management & administration of Group, MICE & associated conference blocks.

This role works closely with a variety of stakeholders to support in the administration of all aspects of Groups and MICE business. The Groups & Conferencing Executive must liaise with relevant clients and take responsibility for the communication and administrative setup of all operational requirements. The colleague must lead and attend Groups / BEO Meetings, and work with all associated departments to ensure operational & financial success of all Group / MICE blocks.

Administratively, the role oversees the financial posting, credit-management & reconciliation of Groups and Catering billing across OPERA, Delphi and POS systems. This role will additionally support in the reviewing and production of relevant reporting relating to sales conversation as well as financial reconciliation.

Desired Profile

  • Strong written communication and organisation
  • A sound knowledge of a Front Office & Reservations Department
  • Previous Reception experience
  • Previous experience with a hotel PMS system.
  • Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, email and internet usage.
  • Previous Supervisory experience
  • Previous Opera experience
