As a Guest Service Agent, you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional guest experiences, from creating personalized service to contributing to hotel sales through persuasive upselling. Your role will involve working across all departments to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for each guest while demonstrating our core values of Passion, Accountability, Integrity, and Respect.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Create an unforgettable arrival experience for guests, checking them in with a smile and thorough knowledge of the Infor HMS system.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork, helping colleagues during busy times to maintain a consistent, high-quality experience.
  • Upsell room upgrades, late checkouts, minibar items, and other hotel products and services to enhance guest stays.
  • Maintain a well-presented front desk and assist in keeping the hotel clean and organized.
  • Attend training and development sessions to continually grow your skills and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Build meaningful connections with guests, offering insightful local knowledge and ensuring their needs are met with care and attention.
  • Uphold confidentiality and security standards, following procedures for cash handling, guest privacy, and key control.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for hospitality with a genuine desire to deliver top-notch guest service.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, energetic attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a good memory for names and faces.
  • Up-to-date local knowledge about Brisbane and its attractions.
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus, but a can-do attitude is most important!
