Located within Melbourne’s premier luxury destination, Next Hotel Melbourne features 255 guest rooms and suites, The Club, meeting spaces, a fitness centre, and a curated Australian art collection — offering a sophisticated yet welcoming experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Handle crockery, cutlery, and cookware with care — ensuring everything is spotless and ready for service.

• Keep the kitchen and equipment clean, sanitised, and operating efficiently.

• Safely transport and store ingredients while following food safety procedures.

• Maintain top hygiene standards and adhere to HACCP guidelines.

• Support the chefs and collaborate across the kitchen team to ensure seamless service.

What We’re Looking For

• A can-do attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen.

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent personal presentation and hygiene standards.

• Physical stamina – capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 20kg.

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
