Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Night Manager to oversee overnight hotel operations, ensuring smooth front-of-house processes, financial accuracy, team support, and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audits and reconcile revenue, credit card transactions, and guest folios

• Maintain hotel security and act as the key contact for overnight emergencies

• Lead, mentor, and coach overnight staff, ensuring proper training, performance, and shift handovers

• Ensure all hotel policies, procedures, and IHG brand standards are adhered to

• Respond to guest enquiries, complaints, and incidents in a professional and timely manner

• Monitor VIP arrivals, special requests, and reservations overnight

• Maintain operational efficiency, internal controls, and compliance with WH&S, fire, and safety procedures

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service

• Support financial and inventory controls, including credit policy, purchasing policy, accounts payable, and cash handling

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Night Manager, Night Supervisor, or Night Auditor

• Strong knowledge of front office operations and night audit processes

• High attention to detail, financial accuracy, and reporting skills

• Confident, calm, and professional communicator

• Experience with Opera or similar PMS systems preferred

• Full working rights in Australia and ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays
