About the role

We are searching for energic and passionate Senior Chef de Partie to join our pre-opening team and contribute to the launch of our brand-new restaurant, Mozzarella and Co. Working closely with Executive Chef, this role offers the exciting opportunity to make your mark on our new concept.  You will support the Executive Chef and kitchen leadership team in, delivering high-quality food preparation, menu design, ensuring consistency, presentation, and compliance with brand and food safety standards. You will take ownership of designated sections, support junior chefs, and contribute to smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Full time position with minimum of 30hrs guaranteed per week
  • Take responsibility across all kitchen sections and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Prepare and present dishes to a high standard in line with brand and menu requirements
  • Support the Executive Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, menu design and service delivery
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all food items
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising food wastage
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WH&S standards at all times
  • Support breakfast buffet setup, service standards, and ongoing replenishment during service periods
  • Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen team members
  • Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and proper maintenance of kitchen areas and equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless guest experience

Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Chef de Partie or senior kitchen role in a hotel kitchen or standalone restaurant environment
  • Strong culinary skills with attention to detail and presentation
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
  • Team-focused attitude with willingness to support and guide junior staff
  • Good communication skills and a positive, proactive approach
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
