As our Venue Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, bar, café, and cellar, inspiring your team to deliver unforgettable dining experiences while driving operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the daily operations across the restaurant, bar, café, and cellar
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing Food & Beverage team
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences and maintain Kimpton service standards
  • Lead by example with a hands-on presence during service
  • Manage rostering, staffing levels, payroll compliance, and team performance
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships
  • Monitor labour, food, and beverage costs to achieve financial targets
  • Support menu development, promotions, and venue initiatives with hotel leadership
  • Resolve guest feedback professionally and drive guest loyalty
  • Maintain compliance with RSA, food safety, WH&S, and licensing requirements
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef, Director of Restaurants & Bars, and wider leadership team
  • Act as Manager on Duty when required

About You

  • Previous experience as a Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, or similar leadership role within hotels or premium hospitality venues
  • Passion for delivering exceptional food, beverage, and guest experiences
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams
  • Commercially minded with experience managing labour costs, stock, and budgets
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of Food & Beverage operations, inventory, and ordering systems
  • Knowledge of the Hospitality Industry (General) Award
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • RSA Certificate (essential)
  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Business (desirable)
  • Full Australian working rights
